Become a carer

Foster homes enable us to make a difference to animals

in Western Australia by providing a safe environment –

quite often a foster home can mean the difference

between life or death. Our foster carers play a vital role

in WAPP’s work – we cannot do what we do without our

Carers. Foster carers provide a home, food and training

for our rescues. They are instrumental in identifying our

foster pet's temperament, abilities and personality as they

care for them.

We provide support throughout the term of your foster, will pay for medical treatment and provide food where possible. It is important to be patient, stable and realistic about what fostering is – the length of time an animal may be in foster care is unknown. It is a rewarding experience and the team will be with you every step of the way. To get started please complete our foster care application form

Professional Experience

We are also always looking for professional people who want to be involved with us and are committed to working toward our common goal.

As an organisation we have limited resources and ongoing help is integral to our success. We are always open to discussion with individuals, corporate, government and community organisations who might like to be involved.

If you would like to discuss how you can assist us, please email hello@wapetproject.com.au
